Chess Emporium teaches a fun and exciting introduction to the game of chess. Class will teach game basics to all and cover introductory chess openings, chess game notation, basic chess tactics, introductory strategy, and basic endgames. Children will practice against classmates and participate in structured activities including fun chess variants (such as Bughouse chess), chess puzzles, and much more! This upbeat cheer and dance course is guided, fun, and highly energetic with the opportunity to increase self-confidence, creativity, and coordination through dance and cheer. Classes consist of a warm up stretch, dance routine, cheer chant, basic stunts, and dance cheer games. Children will learn a new routine each time they take the class!
