Early Childhood Academy (for four year olds) is taught by a certified teacher. This successful program provides our littlest learners strong literacy and math skills that will prepare them for their kindergarten experience.
Available for children from birth through age three. The Centers follow the district’s academic calendar and are open from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
AZDHS licensed, tuition based preschool programming options for ages 3 to 5 years, not yet eligible for Kindergarten held at multiple sites across the district. Rates vary per program.
We prepare children ages birth to five, for success in school and life by providing the resources and referrals that connect and strengthen families.
Program offers Academic and PE courses to students in grades 9-12. Current 8th grade students can enroll in PE, Math Jumpstart, or Spanish courses without prior approval.
Mascot Club Childcare is available before and after school and on district recess days for students enrolled in preschool (4 years old only) through Grade 6. Mascot Club is offered at multiple sites across the district.
Please note, registration must be received before our office closes at 4:30 p.m. the Wednesday prior in order to start the following week. Registrations received after this time may not be accepted.
Payments for various testing and district programs through PVSchools.
Buses pick-up and drop-off at each of the PVSchools high schools.
2D Digital Painting: This course is designed to expand your child's drawing and painting skills using professional digital tools—all from an animation artist’s perspective. Children will learn how to use digital painting software confidently in every Digital Media Arts class. They will discover how to build and control custom brushes, design characters and backgrounds, and apply techniques that bring their artwork to life on a tablet or laptop. Past projects have included character creation, environmental backgrounds, prop design, and finishing a Master Artwork they can proudly showcase. Each Digital Painting workshop features different unique projects, so your child can keep growing their artistic skills with fresh challenges every time.
2D Animation: This course introduces your child to the core principles of 2D animation—balance, shadow, weight, squash and stretch, timing, and spacing. Children will explore planning, production, and post-production, along with how to use reference and basic dynamics to bring their ideas to life. Every 2D Animation workshop comes with unique animation exercises so children can keep leveling up without repeating past lessons. Previous projects have included classic animation fundamentals like the ball bounce, ball weight, and fun storytelling exercises such as UFO & Cow, all leading to a polished final animation. Your child will have a blast letting their creativity run wild as their drawings start to move.
