Family Resource Center 2025-2026

Family+Math Storytime

Who’s it for? Children ages 3 to 5 years with their favorite grownups. What will you do?  Each week you and your child will explore a new math concept through stories, songs, rhymes, and hands-on activities. What will you learn? Children learn about shapes, counting, patterns, and measurement in a fun, interactive setting. Adults learn how to support their child’s early math skills at home. Registration is required and by registering you agree to attend all 6 weeks. This series meets on the following dates: Tuesdays: May 26, June 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 at 9:30 AM Space is limited. You must have a child between the ages of 3 to 5 years to participate (older or younger siblings welcome). Support for early literacy programs is provided by a grant from First Things First, which partners with families and communities to give all Arizona children the opportunity to arrive at kindergarten healthy and ready to succeed. Learn more at FirstThingsFirst.org.  Additional support for this program is provided by Arizona PBS, the Burton Family Foundation, and the PNC Grow up Great initiative.
