Early Childhood Academy (for four year olds) is taught by a certified teacher. This successful program provides our littlest learners strong literacy and math skills that will prepare them for their kindergarten experience.
Available for children from birth through age three. The Centers follow the district’s academic calendar and are open from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
AZDHS licensed, tuition based preschool programming options for ages 3 and 4 (by August 31st) held at multiple sites across the district. Fees vary per program.
We prepare children ages birth to five, for success in school and life by providing the resources and referrals that connect and strengthen families.
Program offers Academic and PE courses to students in grades 9-12. Current 8th grade students can enroll in PE courses without prior approval. Algebra 1-2 requires counselor approval.
Mascot Club Childcare is available before and after school and on district recess days for students enrolled in preschool (4 years old only) through Grade 6. Mascot Club is offered at multiple sites across the district.
Payments for various testing and district programs through PVSchools.
Buses pick up and drop off at each of the PV high schools.
Who’s it for? 1,2,3 Talk with Me is a free 8-week program weeks 1,2,7,8 are in-person and weeks 3-6 are virtual) for caregivers of children birth to 32 months. Classes are for adults only and there will be very limited childcare. During the weeks were class meets virtually you will be required to come to the center to have your weekly recording uploaded and charged. We will do this during Storytime and Open Play on Fridays. You will have priority enrollment in Story Time and Open Play during weeks 3-6. What will you do? You will go to class once a week to learn how early talk impacts the growth of your baby’s brain. You will be assigned a LENA Talk pedometer for the 8-week course. Once a week you will use the LENA talk pedometer to measure the words your baby hears in a day. What will you learn? 1,2,3 Talk with Me is based on the LENA Start curriculum which teaches 14 Talking Tips you can use at home with your child. Adults who take the class learn more about their child, increase quality interactions, and connect with other parents. What will you receive? On the first day of class, you will receive a tote bag and the LENA Start Parent Guide. Each week you attend class you will receive a book for your child. Attend all classes and receive FREE books for your child! What if you need childcare? This is an adult-only program. Children over the age of 6 months should not be in class with you. If you need childcare for children older than 6 months, we do have limited free childcare
available on a first come, first served basis. The center will reach out to you to discuss your childcare needs.
