Grayhawk Summer School ~ July 6th - July 16th, Monday - Thursday
Site Capacity: 120 students, Staff/Student Ratio: 1:10 (Social distancing will be in practice and desks spaced appropriately)
Class times and lunch time: You are welcome to register your child for both the 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. classes however all students MUST be picked up at 12:00 p.m. We are NOT able to provide lunch coverage from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Drop off and Pick Up: Drive thru drop off will be from 8:50 - 9:00 a.m. and 12:50 - 1:00 p.m. in two designated locations on campus split by last name. Drive thru pick up will be at 12:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. in two designated locations on campus split by last name. During pick up please display your Chaperone card so we can see your child’s name clearly.
Health Screening for Students: Families are asked to take the temperature of each child participating in camp prior to leaving your home. If your child has a temperature above 100.4 we ask that you keep your child home from camp that day. When you arrive in the drive thru drop off line you will be asked if you took your child’s temperature. You will also be asked if your child has a cough, fever or sore throat. You will also be asked if your child has been exposed to someone who has COVID 19 in the past 14 days. Lastly, you will be asked if your child has been exposed to someone who has traveled outside of the country in the last 14 days. (If you are unable to take your child’s temperature before arriving at summer camp we will ask you to pull to the side and we will complete a health screening including temperature check.) If the answer to any of the health screening questions is yes, or your child is displaying COVID -19 symptoms, your child may be excluded from attending the program. If your child becomes ill or displays symptoms of COVID-19 at school, your child will be isolated and you will be expected to pick your child up immediately. Your child will not be allowed to return to camp without a medical release from your physician. We appreciate your support to ensure all children have a healthy experience.
Health Screening for Staff: Staff will have their temperature taken upon arrival and also complete health screening daily. Any staff member who indicates illness or exhibits symptoms will not be permitted to work.
PPE: All staff members and students will be required to wear masks.
Sanitization and Cleaning: All staff and students will wash their hands upon arrival. Students will be encouraged to wash their hands regularly throughout the day. All common surfaces will be sanitized hourly during the day. Alcohol based hand sanitizer will also be available in every room. Cleaning and sanitizing will occur every evening.
Supplies: As usual all supplies will be provided for students however sharing will not be allowed. All supplies will be stored in a large ziploc bag with your child’s name clearly labeled.
Nurse: There will not be a school nurse on site during summer camp.
Registration: Registration opened on June 11th and willclose on June 30th at 5:00 pm however due to the limited availability when the classes are full we will no longer accept registrations.
