This course is designed to fulfill the district and state curriculum requirements. In reading, students study fiction, non-fiction, drama and poetry. Outside reading also is required. Students concentrate on narrative, expository, and functional writing. In addition, they are introduced to the persuasive essay. Also included in the course are required assignments in speaking/ listening and viewing/presenting. The reading and writing state assessments are emphasized.
Available for children from birth through age three. The Centers follow the district’s academic calendar and are open from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
AZDHS licensed, tuition based preschool programming options for ages 3 and 4 (before Sept. 1st) held at multiple sites across the district. Fees vary per program.
We prepare children ages birth to five, for success in school and life by providing the resources and referrals that connect and strengthen families.
Mascot Club Childcare is available before and after school, and on district recess days for students enrolled in preschool (4 years old only) through Grade 6. Mascot Club is offered at 19 sites across the district.
Mascot Summer Camp is a fee-based program, for grades K-6, that includes spirit days, field trips, and weekly special events!
Payments for various testing and district programs through PVSchools.
Academic, Physical Education, and Elective courses offered VIRTUALLY to students in grades 9 - 12. Current 8th-grade students can enroll in PE courses only.
